About the lessons
What is in a topic?
Each topic includes lecture slides, guided notes with a teacher key, printable speaker notes, reading guides, and other activities with their answer keys. Units also have a vocab packet and quiz, graphic organizers, SAQ bell ringers, a unit exam and review materials. The full list is on the Curriculum page.
Which course does this cover?
AP® World History: Modern, the full College Board course from c. 1200 to the present, with a module on the exam and CED changes for the 2026-27 school year.
What if the lesson I need isn't here?
Tell me. I take feedback from members on new additions, though I can't guarantee a turnaround time for a specific lesson.
Is it kept up to date?
Yes. When the College Board changes the CED, the lessons are updated at no extra cost, so what you download stays aligned to the exam.
The membership
What do I get?
Every lesson in the library, from the first week of school and Unit 0 through Unit 9, the writing lessons and the exam review, plus updates, for as long as you are a member. Today that is 267 lesson pages and 779 downloads.
How much does it cost?
$297 a year, $79.99 every three months, or $34.99 a month. Every plan includes everything; the yearly plan works out to about $25 a month.
Do I keep the files if I cancel?
Your access to the member area ends with your subscription, at the end of the time you paid for. The files you already downloaded stay with you to use with your own students.
Using the files
What formats are the files?
Lectures come in both PowerPoint and Google Slides™ options. Many of the printable components such as the guided notes, readings, graphic organizers, etc. come in ready-to-print PDF form and in a digital Google-ready format for online learning. Editable Google Doc and Word files are available for many, but not all, of the PDFs. Some review games requires the desktop version of PowerPoint, but there are also many paper-based and Google compatible review games as well.
Are the files editable?
Some are. The lecture decks come with partly editable copies, and the editable guided notes, editable exams and question sets are PowerPoint or Word files you can change as needed. Google Sheets activities and Google trivia games are not. The PDFs are print-and-go.
Can I print for my students?
Yes. Print or share as many copies as the students in your own classroom need.
Can I share it with a colleague?
No. One membership is for one teacher and their own classroom. Each teacher on your team needs their own membership.
Do I need special software?
A web browser and a PDF reader. PowerPoint or Google Slides for the lecture decks and editable notes, and Word or Google Docs for the editable reading guides.
Account and billing
When do I get access?
Right away. Your login arrives by email a minute or two after you join, and every file is there the first time you log in.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, from your account. You keep access until the end of the time you paid for, and you are not charged again.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Because every file can be downloaded the moment you join, payments are not refunded. If you want to try it first, the monthly plan is the smaller step, and you can cancel anytime.
Can my school pay with a purchase order?
Yes. Schools and districts can buy yearly licenses for their teachers with a purchase order. See the purchase orders page.
